T had just added a monkey butler to his sims house. For twenty dollars the monkey cleans his house while he's a work - he lives in a tree in the backyard. Should we all have monkey butlers? How did i become the monkey? There was a book I read in Grad school called tripmaster monkey - then Brian was the monkey - but somehow after Brian left town we still need monkies and so I became the monkey - also has somthing to do with the novelist Cortazar - asserting the monkey-ness of human kind - don't ask if one day monkeys typing at random will one day be able to generate all the works of classic literature - because they already have - such an odd intellectual toy for writers to play with - akin in some ways to the Kabalistic search for the true name of god...... ah well we went sledding today, the perfect hill, a great day for sledding. I ran at the hill with a board from Hawaii made for wave surfing and I got the longest distance ride that T or his freinds had seen - yup - T had only made it to the bushes on the other side of the pond at the bottom of the hill, I went past them and narowly missed going down into the strem feeding the next pond - DDM (daredevil Mike) was the smallest and craziest and youngest of us all - good thing I left any parental style sense in my other coat - we just kept watching him sled off these four foot landscaping wooden frames built into the side of the hill - his spine took a whoopin I'm sure as he shot into the air and landed some ways down the hill - he was like Ralphy's younger brother in a christmas story - similar voice - same snow suit - same size kid - and yet fearless. Erin has a hurt knee and was sad not to take the same risks the rest of us did - yet she had her fair share of impacts - running to the top of the hill and leaping for mommentum. She and T did this thing in the circular sled where you start going down the hill and spin yourself at the same time in a clockwise rotation - often hitting the small bump/jumps backwards - mutch fun. Bernie Mac, who does not look like Bernie mac but the kid off the Bernie Mac show, raced me several times and I as the largest was (through the cunning use of my beer belly) to outsled all. Hahahahaha - Bernie Mac is a chiefs fan and was in his chiefs coat (even though he's not from KC - odd) I had my packer backer gloves on with the golden G and so was able to invoke all the powers of lambo field on the snowiest of sundays (much like the green lantern). (my tone is so random - you just never know what you'll get). Erin had on her sixties disco jacket which did not ever get caught under a sled - much to the surprise of all. T's shoes kept coming off as various attempts were made to send several people down the hill on a single sled simultaniously. T plans to start his own Blog when he's in college, right now he just likes to get on to the next thing and the next - there will be time for the kind of reflection that comes with blogging when he's older..... so we're going to Borders to buy books and then rent some movies at Hollywood video (or blockbuster) and that's the haps -k-
