It hasn’t really stopped raining since New Year’s Eve – that’s five days of rain. NPR suggested that there would be flooding in parts of the metro – I went home and checked the basement again- whoa – we got flood and we got sewer stink. Nasty. So I called the landlord yet again and the boys have come to snake it yet again. And then I get to bleach everything - yet again. I’ve pulled your stuff into a dry corner M.B. but I’m afraid that everything that’s down there is going to need a scrubbing from the ambient odor. And those moving boxes under the stairs might need to go.
